  • The day-to-day activities :

  • Work with Country Head to set business targets and allocate budget
  • Plan and execute business and operations plan within assigned budget
  • Accountable for business vertical targets, budget and P&L
  • Collaborate with other Grab leaders (including other Business Vertical Heads, Product, Engineering, Data, User Trust, Legal, Public Affairs, etc) to address issues, identify new opportunities and share best practices.
  • Develop win-win partnerships
  • Be the spokesperson for the business vertical; this includes attending media events, interviews and fielding both online & offline media questions
  • Collaborate with Country Head and Marketing Head to achieve overall business objectives
  • Work with Finance team to track actuals vs target, analyze and identify opportunities from financial statements
  • Build a culture that strongly aligns with Grab’s Vision, Mission and Principles
  • Be a servant leader; lead by example
  • The must haves :

  • Prior experience in management consulting, general management, investment banking, start-ups / fast-paced business-centric environment strongly preferred
  • MBA degree or Bachelors from a top-tier university preferred
  • Prepared and able to provide high-level directions as well as be hands on when the situation calls for it
  • Adaptable; enjoys working in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment
  • Strong motivator and collaborator; able to align large groups of people towards a particular goal
  • Proven experience in developing strategies, and translating said strategies into tangible outcomes
  • Able to initiate and maintain strong relationships with relevant industry partners, suppliers and contractors
  • Excellent leadership, management, problem solving, negotiations, interpersonal, and communications skills
  • Strong planning, execution and coordination skills
