General Summary : A Consumer Technology Officer will provide broad application support for the Consumer Bank systems, and will participate in the design, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of Consumer Bank systems.
Essential Functions / Job Duties :
Work on projects to plan, evaluate, and implement applications for the bank following the software development lifecycle.
Identifies new technologies to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and ability of the bank to achieve its short and long term plans.
Prepares functional specs and process rules that reflect the business requirements
Coordinating the testing, signoff and implementation of applications / projects to meet the business timeline.
Work as a team member to achieve information technology goals, strategies, and team objectives.
Participate in technical production problem resolution.
Provide supporting analysis for making recommendations to improve the systems or processes.
Follow applicable policies, standards, procedures and processes from the bank and local regulators.
Control information systems security to protect from unauthorized modification or disclosure.
Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or Software Programming.
Minimum of five years working experiences in banking technology.
Deep knowledge of Consumer Banking Products and Systems.
Experiences with databases (ORACLE, MS SQL).
Knowledge on industry standard data models and service landscape.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities :
Strong analysis, problem solving, planning, communication and organization skills.
Technical experiences on the latest programming languages and database design.
Well-organized with strong communication and problem solving skills.
Project Management skills.
Ability to interact and communicate with internal and external users and vendors in both technical and non-technical manners.
