Job purpose / Job summary
Compliance & Risk Management : Take a key role in promoting high standards of integrity. Ensure compliance in line with global guidelines as well as local laws and regulations through adequate procedures and process controls.
Support the local Compliance Officer in fostering a climate and culture of compliance through trainings, monitoring and pro-
actively addressing compliance issues. Support Compliance & Risk Manager to ensure adequate procedures in place to timely identify gaps within local policies, processes, procedures and systems and drive initiatives to close these gaps.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Closely monitor trends and changes of relevant global, regional and local requirements and standards.
Propose initiatives to continuously improve compliance and ensure effective as well as efficient monitoring procedures
Ensure adherence to global standards (e.g. Code of Conduct, Marketing Compliance questionnaire, Global Directives and policies)
Provide transparency through adequate review mechanisms and reporting.
Support to define & implement local training plan in line with global / regional plan & strategies
Tailor global / regional training material to local needs and create own local material
Ensures all employees are trained appropriately & training records are maintained
Support to develop, deliver and maintain communication to ensure local organizations’ compliance awareness and knowledge.
Ensure regular and detailed review of key business transactions such as T&E...etc
Support to provide management with summaries of key transaction reviews and documentation; report unusual observations.
Perform ad-hoc reviews (deep dive monitoring) where deemed necessary
Support to build a thorough business understanding to provide adequate support to the business. Develop an internal network to stay informed about planned activities.
Take ownership of internal policies, procedures and SOPs to ensure they are enforced in compliance and ensure adequate control.
Ensure adequate tracking of actions plans resulting from internal & external audits
Maintain and further enhance the existing compliance tools. Pro-actively drive initiatives for new systems, functionalities or simplification.
Support to promote the Speak Up policy
Support the activities of local Compliance boards hold on quarterly basis
Support to monitor the compliance involving 3rd Party service providers
Support other compliance related tasks as assigned by the manager

Education and Qualification :
Minimum Education : Bachelor Degrees in Finance / Accounting / Auditing / Compliance / Law
Quality or compliance management, risk management, process development or auditing skills
Minimum 4-6 years of relevant working experience
Experience in process improvements and project management or
Experience in auditing or risk management or
Experience or affinity to perform legal reviews and manage legal risks
Experience in Healthcare or Medical Device industry is preferred
Strong Knowledge on local legal matters
Good communications skills
Strong problem solving skills
Good organizational and time management skills
Good team player and cross-function collaborator
Self-starter and able to work independently
Other skills & abilities
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Possess knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power point), and Google applications (Sharepoint, G drives)
