As graduate engineeryou'll observelearn and contribute to engineering activities relating to the design of subsea production systemsservices and offshore equipment meeting relevant company and engineering standards defined below.
You'll attain chartered engineering status in accordance with the accredited monitored professional development scheme applicable to discipline e.
g IMechE. You'll work under close guidance of senior engineers and mentors with rotations through discrete product groupsdisciplines & business functions to acquire required breadth of knowledge.
As a Graduate Instrumentation Engineer you'll be responsible for :
Enrolling and completing an accredited monitored professional development scheme for engineering chartership.
Creating work packs for delegationreview detail drawingscreate test procedures and lead small teams.
Creating layoutsspecifying functional componentsevaluating stack-upscreating assembly proceduressupporting manufacturing and undertaking basic calculations.
Interpreting customer engineering specifications to produce layoutdetail and assembly designs and specifications.
Developing conceptual design requirements and layouts on systems and product levels following company design process management (DPM) protocols.
Developing general design specifications for interpretation by other engineers and designers.
Retrieving and submitting data in PDM link software following company protocols.
Creating detailfabrication and assembly level drawings to ASME Y14.5 standards and format.
Creating detail designs for manufacture and participate and create material for design reviews including materials and environmental reviews using relevant software to prepare general drawings.
Modifying and creating 3D models and drawings to manufacturing standards for 'Pro-NC' manufacture using company protocols and parametric practices.
Creating Bill of Materials (BOM) in documentation systemfor approval by Engineers.
Undertaking design verificationwhich may include but not limited to : Tolerance studiesdesign reliabilitydesign for manufacturesimple failure analysisdesign reviewssimple calculations for basic design Verification purposes.
Identifying improvements in existing productsprocedures and processes and develop cost effective solutions to satisfy specifications
Creating basic factory acceptance (FAT) proceduresprototype Test Procedures and document results (PVT) for approval by Engineers
Interpreting basic pressure vessel and structural engineering calculations for design layout purposes.
Ensuring all design activities and documents are correctly archived in electronic document management system.
Understanding and applying design for manufacture principles for turningmachiningdrillingmillingand welding processes to ensure designs are suitable and allow for efficient manufacture and assembly.

To be successful in this role you will :
Have Master of Engineering degree in Automation and Controls or qualified in applicable discipline.
Have experience with current industry relevant design and calculation software.
Have conscientiousflexibleversatile and determined.
Have capability of assertive and positive communication and performance.
Have fluent English and Vietnamese communication skills.
Have understanding of behavioral personnel issues
Have ability to work and to collaborate with team member with professional approach to changing work demands.
Have a ppropriate standard of technicalsafety and professional knowledge as defined by competences.
Be familiar with Risk Assessment and ReliabilityVerification Procedures.
Have g ood knowledge of materialsincluding welding and heat treatment of metals and elastomers.
Have k nowledgeable of current relevant industry standards and codes for area of work.
