International Freight Service Business Development Manager (Based in HCMC) - ( 2200010M )
This position is responsible for targeting and hunting for new business with new customers by selling APLL’s capabilities and solutions, with a strong focus on ocean freight.
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible to find the right target customers in APLL’s focused industries
Able to hunt and close ocean freight business
Able to build up relationship with customers and dig out the opportunities fitting into APLL’s capabilities and competencies
Able to understand customers supply chain, find the pain points and sell the right solutions and demonstrated value to customers
Maintain good relationship with existing clients, continuously improve the profitability and dig out new business opportunities.
Ensure timely and accurate reports of target accounts, opportunities and sales calls.
Follow up A / R and ensure the timely payment from the customers
Responsible to follow the customer qualification and on-boarding protocols, including credit setup and contract coordination for customers
Minimum of a Bachelors, ideally with an MBA or related advanced degree in Finance, Economics or related field
Hunter profiles with an ocean freight basis
Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial role with rick knowledge of supply chain logistics and local market practice
Excellent communication and presentation
Good knowledge in both international and domestic logistics
Established network of customer and business relationships
Relevant work experience in a supply chain division of an MNC or 3PL is prefered
Be able to work in complex situation and under pressure
