What you will learn and contribute to
Responsible for NPI (New Product Introduction), secure the project plan and key milestones, implement HW / SW change requirements with suppliers, including coordination of change management activities
Supplier / vendor management, communication and coordination from prototypes and pilot run to mass production readiness and also for some mass production delivery commitment (working with Industrial Management teams)
Pilot production management, including material preparation for pilot, vendor AML management, pilot PO treatment, overall control for pilot production, LPR report and NPI report review
Activities at mass production : SW package and production instruction transfer to vendor, HW Engineering change implementation, capacity analysis, important issues treatment
Ensure test environment and production test capacity setup, and also support analysis to further align / extend capacity in order to support customer demand
Support when needed the Requested Supply Plan (RSP) / Proposed Supply Plan (PSP) review, and the raw materials / components pull-in
Ensure quality, cost and Excess & Obsolete are in line with target, and develop any action plan needed to keep control or correct
Your skills and experience
Experienced of working in New Product Introduction (NPI) and Industrial Management
Experienced with ONT, PON, LTE or WiFi product is a plus
Background in electronics manufacturing environment or experience of EMS supplier management is strongly desired
Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
Ability to work autonomously and results oriented, open to regular travel to different supplier factories in Hanoi
