Overview

This position is your opportunity to be responsible for the creation of tests to identify issues with software before the product launch.

What will you be doing?

As a junior QA Engineer, your job is to assist senior QA engineer or team lead with writing test cases, executing tests in different phase, collaborating with developers, and providing relevant documents.

Your responsibilities will include :

Assist senior QA engineers or team lead with writing test plan and test cases

Execute tests, identify issues, and analyze testing results

Verify bugs after bugs are resolved

Assist senior QA engineers or team lead with performing system testing (such as, performance, stress, or security testing)

Trace issues using tracking systems

Assist senior QA engineers or team lead with relevant documents and reports

Other qualities you will need to be a fit for this role include :

Bachelor’s degree in computer science / Information Technology or equivalent

Ability to problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Can write SQL queries to query data from a database

Can write SQL queries to create / modify / delete table in a database

Experience on using SQL Server or MySQL or Oracle

Knowledge of Operating System

Knowledge of Network

Familiar with software development lifecycle and testing concepts

Sense of responsibility, team spirit and resilience

Good written and basic verbal English communication skills
