JOB SUMMARY

  • The Loyalty Partnership Manager maintains and expands relationships with program partners. Assigned to identified partners, the Loyalty Partnership Manager is responsible for achieving program sales targets and assigned strategic account objectives.
  • The Loyalty Partnership Manager works with partners on initiatives designed to increase program sales, while leading the partners’ account planning cycle and ensuring assigned partners’ needs and expectations are met by the company.

    The Loyalty Partnership Manager is expected to establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.

    This role is focused on financial cards and banking. The role will be responsible for managing the bank cards portfolios of the Loyalty Division namely wallet, prepaid, credit and debit products.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage bank card portfolios (pre-paid, debit and credit co brand cards)
  • Partner relationships management regular meetings with assigned partners to be arranged and lead by Loyalty Partnership Manager
  • Campaign and promotion development creation of promotions and campaigns designed to maximize program sales and revenues and build business and customer engagement for the partner
  • Partner financial management manage the invoicing and reconciliation process for each partner to ensure timely and accurate billing and payments
  • Day to day management of partner relationships of the Loyalty program to drive increased member engagement
  • Ensure that new or renewed partnership agreements deliver tangible and measurable benefits to the Loyalty Program, its members and partners
  • Identify gaps and opportunities, using a variety of qualitative and quantitative inputs, to deliver Loyalty improvements
  • Pursue, develop and secure partnerships and member benefits to deliver solutions for identified opportunities
  • Develop regular reporting to track business development progress
  • Develop processes for the proactive identification, monitoring and resolution progress tracking of issues related to partner transactional data
  • Develop a suite of dashboards and reports to present transactional and performance data in a meaningful way to demonstrate and quantify delivery of loyalty and business objectives
  • Ensure both the Loyalty Division and partners are meeting the contractual requirements of their partnership agreements
  • Build genuine relationships with a diverse stakeholder group
  • Partner account planning develop and manage to a partner account plan with campaigns and key activities for the upcoming year (Annual plan to be reviewed with the partner at least quarterly)
  • Presentation of results and program updates to the partner regular preparation and presentation to key stakeholders to ensure partner objectives are met and the program remains a major marketing tool for the partner
  • Vendor and partner contract review and authorization (where necessary)
  • Partner management related representation and termination

    Education & Work Experience

  • University degree in business or related discipline
  • Banking experience, managing card portfolio is a must
  • Marketing expertise combining account / partner management and business development experience
  • Experience working alongside Data Analytics, Member Insights and Research peers and suppliers to identify improvements to loyalty partner programs
  • Loyalty or rewards program partner management experience would also be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated ability to produce reports, documents, presentation and business cases efficiently and effectively

  • Sound numeracy, analytical and abstract reasoning skills together with highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Should have good organizational and planning abilities including the ability to deal with / work under pressure and tight deadlines.
