We are looking for a highly motivated Technical Marketing Engineer (TME), who shall be a key member of the Technical Marketing team and will be the technical expert on Aruba’s products and technologies
Supporting field enablement activities for the Aruba SD-Branch / SD-WAN solution including aspects of design, deployment and troubleshooting branch networks.
The TME will also be the technical expert or have familiarity with other components of the Aruba solution portfolio such as WLANs, network management, security and switching.
Drive the inclusion of various bleeding-edge demos in the lab environment. Actively engaged in various Aruba events to conduct live demos as well presentation / training sessions for partners and customers
Expected to spend 40% of their time in generating technical collateral which includes reviewing and producing technical application notes, configuration, and design guides, and assist in curriculum and training development when required
Review of and development white papers, technical briefs, and implementation documents for publication on the web and printed media.
Participate in and support technical forums, industry events, and other speaking events and industry shows. As well as customer site visits, especially those involving field demonstrations
Developing and delivering complex technical presentations to various-size sales teams, C-level executives, customer audiences and industry forums
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years or master’s degree with 6+ years in technical marketing, technical sales, customer support, or equivalent role
Deep and comprehensive understanding of networking technology and the ability to develop strong technical knowledge of company products
Networking equipment evaluation experience
Strong understanding of LAN and WAN networking protocols and technologies, including switching, routing, and security
Good understanding of and experience with cloud services, cloud-managed network deployments
Working knowledge of WAN competitive landscape when presenting to SEs, sales and territory managers, and channel partners
Well recognized industry certifications such as ACMX / ACDX / CWNE / CCIE
General understanding of 802.11 technologies and experience deploying WLANs for enterprises
