  • At Strategic Supply team, creating and maintaining a sustainable fleet of long term drivers in Grabcar platform is our top priority.
  • We are working with automotive car finance companies and automotive dealers to offer promotional packages for GrabCar drivers.

    Sourcing exclusive car rental package for drivers. In return, the drivers will work closely with GRAB and support GRAB’s events or marketing promotions.

    Get to know the Role :

  • Manage a team to source new prospect to car rental platform.
  • Train the team to explains the rental packages to Grabcar drivers and complete all the necessary documentations.
  • To source and work closely with automotive car finance companies & automotive dealers to offer promotional packages to Grabcar platform.
  • The day-to-day activities :

  • Manage a team, establish process flow, oversee and shape the entire sourcing and on-boarding operations.
  • Responsible to train the sourcing & on-boarding team to explain details about car finance program to drivers.
  • To source candidates of car finance program for GrabCar platform from multiple sources; e.g. drivers who don’t have their own cars, taxi drivers, rental car drivers, etc.
  • Leverage various ways to find and source candidates; e.g. telemarketing, web marketing, referral, etc.
  • Manage the process of credit checks.
  • Working with automotive car finance companies and automotive dealers to offer promotional packages for GrabCar drivers.
  • Working with automotive dealers to establish marketing tools to sell the promotional package to GrabCar drivers and submit the applications to car finance companies.
  • To build and maintain relationship with GrabCar drivers who are under the car financing or rental programs.
  • Assisting Head of Department to oversee and shape the operation of Strategic Supply department.
  • Establish, achieve, and report on KPIs and milestones periodically to the Head of Department.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned on ad-hoc basis.
  • Effective leadership & management skills.
  • Work closely with all related stakeholders to ensure a smooth & well managed rental operation.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with other employees, Grabbers, and the stakeholders.
  • Function in a team environment.
  • Build & maintain relationship with the drivers, listening to their needs and offer the right program to drivers.
  • Handle the problems or issues from drivers, specially related to car rental enquiries, program details etc.
  • The must haves :

  • Basic degree / undergraduate (preferred) or diploma.
  • Microsoft excel skills.
  • Experience in automotive industry or auto finance such as loan, lease, etc. highly preferable.
  • Experience in leading a team consists of 5-10 staff to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Result oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deal effectively with conflicting priorities and change.
  • Strong customer focus and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skill.
  • Passion about the social mission and making a positive impact in emerging markets.
  • Local language proficiencies a must.
  • Can thrive in a startup environment.
