Responsibilities

Drive pre-sales activities to achieve successful design-in results and generate significant business through design wins.

Drive demand creation and design-in activity at customer site in close cooperation with regional marketing, regional BD, local sales and BL

Review opportunity and technical demand, propose NXP as total solution, provide onsite & offsite support; Engage with 2nd level CAS for escalation

Prepare technical proposals, formulate and define technical solution guidelines for sales team support

Conduct technical training and product demonstration

Provide strong technical expertise in support of post-sales activities

Troubleshoot applications on customer’s request, resolve technical issues, conduct regular follow up on customer's technical activities, and monitor to obtain new design opportunities

Perceived by customer as a trusted consultant during development process

Make recommendations for disruptive improvement to products and roadmap

Collaborate with Business Units and Business Lines for NPI suggestions from field analysis.

Identify and align future solution roadmap with focus accounts to drive continue business

Participate in seminars, conferences, and meetings for promoting NXP products or vertical segments

Build and nurture close customer relationships

Stay informed & share information about competitive products and technologies

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor / Master degree or equivalent with at least 5 years+ of related experience
  • Embedded software application development experience required
  • Embedded C and Assembly language programming knowledge required / C++ is a plus
  • Experience working with software stacks and operating systems for embedded systems
  • Experience working with embedded Linux OS is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microcontrollers and general-purpose peripherals (Timers, ADCs, serial communications, USB, Ethernet, etc.)
  • Ideal candidate should be an electrical / electronic / Computing engineer from a reputed engineering college / university with 5yrs+ related work experience.

    He / She should have an in-depth understanding of microprocessor and microcontrollers from an architecture perspective and experience in related software and hardware development tools.

    He / She should have a proven track record of successful implementations and / or technical customer support activities.

    He / She should have excellent communication and presentation skills as he / she would be involved in conducting technical training sessions for various customers and partners.

    Good command of English Language (written and communication) is mandatory.

    Independent and self-motivated professional.

    Some travelling to regional countries is expected.
