The Sales Manager operates within the Emerging Asia region and reports to the Commercial Director. This position is based in Vietnam.
Let's talk about Responsibilities Sales & Business Planning Meet or exceed annual and quarterly sales budget for Vietnam Manage and drive distributors to ensure effective penetration of market segments Identify prospective distribution partners where required and develop new business / sales in line with growth expectation and product portfolio development Meet defined sales budgets via the application of strategic selling and channel management methodologies, ensuring maximum coverage in Vietnam for the portfolio.
Drive innovative pathway development for portfolio Perform high-touch sales activities to hospital customers Map market opportunity and market size Ensure all local regulatory requirements are met and support in related governmental liaison.
Communicate all new tenders to the attention of management and drive appropriate action plans to secure. Develop and maintain a strong relationship with key opinion leaders within our product portfolio.
Marketing Develop and implement promotional activities and for partners for both portfolios in partnership with Marketing.
Initiate and coordinate activities that increase general awareness of the medical community to our portfolios Develop and implement new product launches Technical Responsibilities Facilitate and organize product training for all distribution partners on all new products and upgrades working closely with Marketing / Clinical Education department.
Facilitate and manage client service / warranty claims as required in accordance to protocol Provide field feedback to marketing and regional teams on product design and applications as required Maintain competency by attending appropriate conferences and interacting with key stakeholders.
Administration Prepare periodic business planning reports & forecasts as required and assisting with planning processes.
Let's talk about Position Specific Skills and Challenges Strong communication, solution selling, and negotiation skills Experienced in working in a cross-functional environment and collaborating closely with regional counterparts.
Working within a dynamic environment which is fast developing. Will need to anticipate changing organizational needs and work to competitive market pressures.
Let's talk about Qualification and Experience Minimum Bachelor degree in Engineering, Sciences (e.g. Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology etc.
or Business Fluent in spoken and written Vietnamese and English. High competency in English is mandatory. Preferred Direct sales, channel sales management, business development and / or marketing experience Preferred industries : Medical device, consumer healthcare, consumer med-tech, capital equipment, and healthcare consulting.
