English Intensive Curriculum Coordinator
This role for English Intensive Summer Programme Coordinator is to oversee the English Intensive programme across all VAS Campuses.
Responsibilities include the coordination, operation and support of activity programmes ensuring their effective and cohesive operation on a day-to-day-basis;
on the job counselor training, plus the support and supervision of all staff; camper wellness and the implementation of
Develop the 6-week English Intensive Curriculum, collaborating with the current Head English.
Lead training activities for English Intensive teachers and teaching assistants.
Responsible for the English Intensive summer programme, overseeing staff training, the delivery of the programme across all VAS campuses and evaluate the success of the summer programme.
Responsible for creating the pre programme assessments, in programme tracking and assessments and end of course placement tests.
Responsible for evaluating the progress of students and performance of teachers, submit the report and recommendations on student placements.
Kindergarten Curriculum Coordinator
The Kindergarten Programme Coordinator will be responsible for assessing current content, writing new content, ordering resources, preparing for staff orientation and training prior to the start of the Summer Programme as well as to run and manage the day to day operations for all kindergarten campuses. Responsible for :
Creating the summer camp curriculum, resources and equipment list for the summer kindergarten programme.
Responsible for creating summer camp journal material, parent communication materials and all other supporting documents to aid with the kindergarten summer course.
Take care of inventory of all supplies
Actively participate in the training and on-the-job coaching of the staff
Manage the day-to-day camp activities and events within the assigned campus
Ensure smooth delivery of the camp activities and programs, including staffing arrangement and resources
Responsible for overseeing the quality of the summer camp journals that are sent home to parents
Relieve and assist counselors as required and remain visible and accessible to staff and campers
Contribute to weekly staff meetings re : leadership, camper concerns, volunteer support etc.
Performing Arts Talents Coordinator
The successful candidate will play a major part in this year’s programme. Their vision will transform our summer programme, working with the Dance and Music coordinators to produce a memorable end of camp production to the theme of Into The Jungle’.
Responsible for the development and implementation of a creative, fun and exciting theatre programme for our 5-week summer camp :
Create an exciting curriculum working towards an end performance for Grade 1-4 students.
Create an interesting and inclusive drama skills curriculum for Grade 5-8 students.
Develop, support, monitor and supervise the Performing Arts teachers for the summer programme and oversee their delivery over the 6 weeks of summer.
Assist the Head of the Summer Programme and / or Site Directors in administrative duties
Create a final production to be presented at each campus.
Assist the Head of the Summer Programme in the supervision and evaluation of camp staff.
Assist in the promotion of the programme & public relations activities.
Coordinators for Art, Cooking, Dance, Magic, Sport, STEAM, Swimming
Responsible for the development and implementation of a creative, fun and exciting programme for our 5-week summer camp :
Develop, support, monitor and supervise teachers for the summer programme and oversee their delivery over the 5 weeks of summer.
Assist the Head of the Summer Programme and / or Site Directors in administrative duties.
Create a final exhibition or performance to be presented at the Summer Fair.
Assist the Head of the Summer Programme in the supervision and evaluation of camp staff.
Assist in the promotion of the programme & public relations activities
Programme Content Advisor and Assistant
Responsible for supporting the Head of the Summer Programme in the development and implementation of specific camps and program areas, as well as the fulfilments of assigned administrative duties.
Responsible for delivering staff orientation / training
Accountable for monitoring the quality of teaching and learning across all areas of the Summer Course (English Intensive, Kindergarten & Summer Camp)
Assist the Head of the Summer Programme in the supervision and evaluation of camp staff
Assist in the promotion of the program & public relations activities
Support with summer production shows or competitions and to assist in preparations for students to contribute to the Summer Camp Closing Event
Qualifications & experience that we are looking for :
University degree holder (English degree required for Vietnamese candidates)
CELTA / TESOL or TEFL certificate required for expatriate teachers
Sound expertise and skills in the area of specialization including curriculum design and teacher training.
Good leadership skills
Excellent organisation and communication skills.
Demonstrated experience in working with children
Ability to teach and lead various recreational activities
Available from 6 June through July 16, 2022 for the following positions : English Coordinator, Performing Arts Talent Coordinator, and Coordinators for Art, Cooking, Dance, Magic, Sport, STEAM, Swimming.
Available from 6 June through July 22, 2022 for Kindergarten Coordinator, Programme Content Advisor and Assistant.
