We provide products and solutions for various industries and applications, including agriculture, construction, electrical and electronics, oil and mining, nutrition and health, paints and coatings, personal and home care, petrochemicals, plastics, textile, leather and footwear, water treatment and others".

OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION

Overseetimeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades,migrations, outages, and manage impact on local / cluster IT organization

Plan, organize,control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations on local level

Manage third-partyon-site support resources by communicating service expectations and appraisingtheir service level.

Design,develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures on a local / clusterlevel in alignment with global policies and procedures

Manage annualbudget and ensure cost effectiveness of IT processes

Act inalignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute toorganizational policy

Ensure securityof data, network access and backup systems

Manage thelocal / cluster IT equipment within the practice lifecycle (such as PC’s)

Verifyapplication results by conducting system audits of implemented technologies

Coordinate andsupport EB’s internal IT procurement processes in tandem with local Procurementcontact.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACTIVITIES

Be responsiblefor the day-to-day operations of the company’s / clusters information systems

  • Promptlyaddress system-wide and individual PC operational problems and when required,closely manage contracted maintenance;
  • keeps track of warranties and serviceagreements and renew or extend when necessary.

    Support tocreate, maintain and enforce policies and procedures regarding all computerusage throughout the company / cluster.

    Facilitateproductive connections between local business and regional IT. Support thepreparation, conduct and follow-up of dialogs with the business, wheneverappropriate to improve user satisfaction.

    Plan and conductactivities to increase the awareness within the local / cluster businessregarding IT services and products, also including promoting data securityawareness.

    Assist in thecoordination of the necessary efforts in the support of local / cluster auditrelated activities.

    Supportperiodic reviews of service delivery to identify lapses in service delivery.

    Support theresolution of all service, incident and problem escalations arising in thecountry / cluster. Trigger appropriate actions, working closely with therespective teams to ensure timely communication, restoration and closure.

    Ensure that lapses in service delivery are captured and reported appropriately,escalating to the relevant hierarchies of the service delivery units whenevernecessary.

    Support localWide Area Network (WAN) and coordinate with Network provider to resolve anyissues and provide support in any local network related rollout.

    Manage hardwareand software requirements for all locally hosted servers.

  • Provide supportthe implementation of new applications for the company / cluster; install andsupport in troubleshooting existing software applications;
  • make recommendationsabout trainings that would be benefit the business; update management about newproducts that enhance the company’s operational efficiency and effectiveness.

    Manage physicalaccess control and access control to non-IT information assets, also beinformed about the technical requirements for access control defined in case ofparticipation in execution of information protection audits and when performinguser awareness trainings.

    Help withregular reviews and analysis of Problem Management data to highlight causes offrequent or high impact failures and suggest preventative action.

    Identify andimplement process improvement opportunities in the Support framework.

    Respond tostakeholders accurate and timely to facilitate their IT needs.

    Activelyparticipate in IT projects by providing recommendations and timely execution ofassigned tasks.

    Support toupkeep and maintain local IT Assets information.

    Support inmanaging EB’s Business Continuity Plan and perform periodic tests of IThardware and infrastructure at Disaster Recovery site(s).

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields
  • 5+ years of relevant Information Technology experience
  • Experience managing large, complex IT projects, preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware / software systems
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation. Knowledge of ERP and business process management software.
  • Deep understanding of TCP (Transmission Control Protocol), IP (Internet Protocol) and other network protocols. Familiarity with DNS (Domain Name System), DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) and other network services
  • Knowledge of COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology), ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), ISO (International Organization for Standardization) or NIST(National Institute of Standasrds and Technology), Quality Management standards and best practices
  • Strong project planning skills and experience in project management
  • Local language and English.
