The rols is accountable for delivering the brand's profit, volume and equity objectives. This responsibility includes following PBTS to define the brand's portfolio, product and packaging strategy and driving execution.

This manager needs to be in regular contact with JTI global brand management, R&D. GSC, agencies and closely collaborate with other members of JTI Vietnam functions - Operation, Finance, CA / Legal to ensure consistency of brand equity.

He / she is responsible for developing concise slides for annual planning meetings and present plans to senior management stakeholders.

The Brand Manager coaches and develops the team to assure that the brand strategy is executed within time and budget.


  • Strengthen share of market and equity for concerned brand in Vietnam. Assist PBTS to drive brand portfolio strategy; assess new product opportunities, identify focus areas to achieve growth goals and secure implementation.
  • Drive brand portfolio, distribution, price and communication strategy for Annual & Strategic Plan. Develop and implement new product launches, closely cooperating with regional R&D, HQ Brand Groups, external agencies and internal functions.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders by communicating market dynamics, brand plans and provide recommendations for performance improvement
  • Close cooperation with Consumer Trade Marketing and Sales to ensure optimal and timely brand activation support. Be the key Brand Guardian in Brand Equity / SOM performance, to alert and proactively come up with counteract plan short term and long term, via closely cooperating with SI department in order to analyze consumer behavior and look for insight through researches in order to provide the implication for business.
  • Conduct analysis and periodical reviews of the brand. Ongoing monitoring and analysis of sales trends, market data and competitor activity.
  • People management

  • Coach, motivate and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly and indirectly to the incumbent.

  • Manage budget for appointed brand / SOB
  • Frequent business trip requirement (7 - 10 days / trip)

  • University degree requirement. MBA is a plus point
  • 3+ years relevant experience in preferrable leading consumer goods / dark market marketing function
  • Experience in high agile / entrepreneurship working environment, good knowledge in marketing & strategic planning (Brand portfolio management, pricing, market analysis, consumer insights and innovation);
  • Good understanding of operational constraints and strong executional reflex appreciation of legislation / taxation, external relations, marketing standards in dark market industry.
  • Fluent in verbal communication & writing English. Good writing, presentation and communication skills.
  • Familiar with Microsoft applications and operations.
  • Experienced in driving projects as a project leader.
  • Proven team player, effectively communicating with various organizational functions.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Familiar with defining strategies, business planning and budget management.
  • Previous brand management experience preferred.
