PropertyGuru has set out to be the Trust Platform for the real estate industry in SEA. As a Market Lead in the PropertyGuru DataSense team, you will be responsible for defining and owning the in-country Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for our data products enabling property seekers, agents, property developers, lenders, and other key stakeholders to make confident decisions.
As part of this role, you will drive key initiatives to add value for our customers and achieve business success, supporting the overall strategy and product vision.
The Market Lead is instrumental in setting the Go-To-Market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution, operations and continuous improvements against the strategy to deliver data driven insights to our key customer segments.
In this role, you will mainly partner with the Product, Marketing and Sales teams to launch our best-in-class data products.
Drive development of the GTM strategy and business plan for PropertyGuru DataSense products in selected market(s) - including GTM process, timelines, launch scenarios, pricing and promotions.
Drive GTM launch and strategy execution, including ensuring operational and organizational readiness across Product, Marketing, Sales, and the rest of the organization.
Be a champion of product excellence : establish clear business and product performance KPIs, monitor performance and continuously drive product and customer experience improvement.
Be an advocate of - and challenger to - the Product Team, providing customer driven input to the products, ensuring commercial excellence, key differentiation, and GTM priorities are addressed.
Develop excellent relationships - and collaborate with - Product, Marketing and Sales teams at the regional and local level, and seek to influence with knowledge, passion, and value-orientation.
Work cross-functionally, understanding and highlighting the interdependence of GTM success and ensure the feedback loop between Customers, Sales, Marketing, Product and the rest of the organization.
Function as your market(s)’ main point of contact for PropertyGuru DataSense products and be responsible for training Marketing and Sales teams.
Understand your market(s)’ competitive landscape and maintain market insights to proactively identify product / business opportunities and anticipate roadblocks of technical, business, political, or organizational nature.
5+ years of designing, iterating, and executing effective Go-To-Market strategies, preferably in the consumer internet or SaaS space.
At least 1 year of experience in GTM for data applications or similar.
At least 1 year of project management experience.
A bachelor's or advanced degree in a technical, management or marketing / sales discipline.
Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully launching and scaling digital products.
Entrepreneurial spirit who has a desire to make an impact and who has no problem with change or getting operationally involved
Ability to identify and clearly articulate business needs / problems and recognize clear solutions to those problems.
Strong decision-making skills, metric-driven operations and ability to motivate and maximize productivity in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to cross-functionally influence, negotiate and deliver results through effectively leading and working with a variety of teams (e.
g., product, sales, marketing), management levels, cultures, and personalities.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and effectively communicate them to a non-technical audience.
Analytical background : you can mold and understand data to drive action and results. Experience in data gathering and quantitative analysis is a plus, but not required.
Affinity with the real estate industry is a plus, but not required.
