BioMar Group A / S is looking for a competent IT Supporter to join our global IT ServiceDesk.

About BioMar IT

BioMar IT is a global IT unit, headquartered in Aarhus, Denmark, with staff on several locations in Scandinavia, UK, Southern Europe, South America and Asia.

We are approx. 30 dedicated IT professionals, providing a full portfolio of IT services, to the 1.600 colleagues in the BioMar business.

The position is based at the BioMar facility in Vietnam where you mainly will be working out of our office in Ho Chi Minh (district 1) and partly at the production site in Bến Tre.

We are on a journey towards becoming a truly global internal IT Services provider, with the ambition of providing an excellent support experience by delivering professional and effective end-user and on-site support.

About the position

As 1st Level IT supporter, you will be supporting our end-users by answering queries on technical issues and offer advice to solve them.

You must have good IT technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution.

You must be end-user oriented, patient and cool-headed to deliver an excellent support service at all time. The goal is to create value for our colleagues, that will help preserve BioMar s values and business.

Your responsibilities will be

  • Serve as the first point of contact for a global end-user seeking technical assistance inside normal working hours.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by the end-user.
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
  • Follow-up and update end-user status and information.
  • Documentation and standardization of IT Support processes and procedures.
  • At the same time, you probably :

  • Are proficient in English and preferably Spanish.
  • Have excellent communication skills phone, chat, email, remote and personal.
  • Are end-user oriented and service minded.
  • Have proven experience (3 years+) working as an IT supporter.
  • Have a good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.
  • Can diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Are familiar working with ITIL processes
  • Have experience working with cloud technologies such as Office 365 / Azure services.
  • Have experience working with ServiceNow.
  • Are willing to travel up to 10 days per year
