I. Purpose of role
Analyzing business potential, conceptualizing & executing business strategies to promote market share, revenue, profitability, brand awareness and growth.
Full responsibility for making strategic Business planning and execution across a portfolio of businesses. Optimize time to market and implement best industry practices, Leadership, efficient team building, culture building and training.
II. Key responsibility
Lead quarterly and annual planning processes to develop a business unit plan with key objectives, KPI’s and timing that support objectives.
Define best practices across business units and create common implementation and standards to leverage expertise and resources.
Work closely with both corporate management and business unit management in identifying and capturing growth opportunities.
Prepare domestic & international Business Development (BD) Budget
Develops BD action plans that clearly define objectives, goals, schedules and assignments to implement and achieve targeted opportunities.
Identify and prioritize acquisition channels that provide the greatest return on BD budget
Provide direction and guidance to multiple BD departments in planning and execution of customer acquisition campaigns across Key Accounts and Mass Agent.
Develop a pipeline for innovation across sales channels, promotional offers and policy co-corporation.
Establish and enforce standards for Success Metrics, KPI’s (OKR) and reporting that will provide performance analysis, ROI and insights for all channels / tactics.
Provide input on models to define profitability and LTV of acquired customers, using data to refine strategy
Promote continual creative improvement and lead programs to expected ROI with an understanding of cost of acquisition, retention and life time value
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports and statistics to monitor and adjust key marketing programs in order to maximize growth
Champion new opportunities within the digital landscape, staying on top of the latest trends and innovations
To carry out a program for market research and analysis including buying trends and competitor analysis. Track market changes and suggest ways and means to stay on top of the competition
Clearly communicate marketing teams; partner with technology teams and external vendors to build software and processes to enable agent targeting / segmentation, campaign execution and measurement at scale
Create and implement innovative multi-channel acquisition strategies & campaigns via strong collaboration with Product, MKT and Supplier Relation teams.
To provide recommendations for improving or adding new product designs and assists with product development and testing.
Identify and build relationships with specialized agencies such as advertising agencies, public relations firms to assist in achieving BD goals
Lead cross-functional teams and peers in development and execution of key strategic initiatives.
Display leadership roles to BD across the company.
Ensure team motivation & development is always high.
Ensure the team is delivering results as per their agreed goals.
Providing coaching and direction to insure marketing teams are performing effectively and efficiently.
III. Competence
5+ years of professional experience in BD / Marketing / Sales with a strong record of accomplishment in BD. Experience with internet / online business preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of experience leading teams of at least 5 people that are functionally and / or geographically diverse is a must.
Ideally you have worked in both start-up and corporate worlds
Have experience in scaling Key Agent / Key Partner / Mass Agent and building efficient strategy.
Demonstrated success creating customer-centric campaigns that speak to specific agent / big customer segments
Proven leadership driving collaboration and results through cross-functional teams and peers.
Results-oriented with the ability to manage from strategic development to detailed execution.
A highly analytical thinker with a depth of knowledge in digital analytics, campaign tracking and ROI metrics
Hands-on experience with marketing automation and digital analytics platforms.
Excellent management and team leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to coach and develop people.
High degree of flexibility and ability to navigate ambiguity.
Strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to operate in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Independent critical thinking and creative problem solving skills.

SALARY DETAILS
This position will be a base salary + bonus + share + esop (25 50mil)
Your total compensation will be based on experience and production.
