At PYCOGroup, a Senior Node.js Developer provides back-end development throughout the project development lifecycle, from technical requirement analysis to development, testing and deployment, based on his / her hands-on experience with modern, cutting-edge technologies.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a backend developer, you will code and test back-end services in Node JS.

Design, implement and / or use RESTful web services

Building scalable microservices-based system

Understand the needs of the customer or business and utilize this knowledge to develop applications that are consistent with the specific needs and requests of the customer

Participate in agile software development, prototyping and code reviews with a small team of developers

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

Experienced in Agile / Scrum development environment

Ability to write structured, well-documented and maintainable code

Good problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong background in JavaScript (ES6)

Practically experienced with REST APIs design and implementation

Expert knowledge of developing projects based on Node.js and HAPI framework

Solid professional experience in using Node.js unit testing frameworks (Jest, Jasmine, Mocha, etc.)

Practically experienced with Docker, Azure SQL, Azure CosmosDB, Azure Container, Azure App service

Knowledge of and skills in designing / implementing microservices is a big plus

Experienced in any of the following areas is a plus : code review, continuous integration, continuous delivery with : GitHub, CircleCI
