The Head of Sales for Mid Market manages a group of sales professionals in one or more of the Sales Functions (account management, territory sales, vertical industry, specialties).

Responsible for setting the direction and managing the deliverables of the assigned sales team, and achieving revenue and expense objectives.

Resolves customer problems and participates in important negotiations with key customers. Where appropriate, seeks to build strategic executive relationships externally with clients and internally within company, and partners with internal and external resources to develop best-

in-class solutions for the customer. Manages the performance of individual contributors and the team overall, and grows and develops talent within the organization.

In a typical day as Head of Sales of Mid Market, you would :

If you :

  • Have a University or Bachelor's degree.
  • Have more than7 years ofexperience in sales, including success in achieving progressively higher quota and other sales goals.
  • Have more than 5 years of experience in managing a high-performing sales team
  • Have directly related management experience and work results including success in achieving progressively higher quota or other sales related goals.
  • Have demonstratedexcellencein project management
  • Possess skills in Strategic Leadership, Customer Intimacy, and Business Management,

  • Typically manages employees, resources, or projects within an assigned territory or country.
  • Responsible for quota achievement for the team
  • Participates in investment and resource allocation decisions.
  • Typically manages approximately 10 sales representatives. Can manage other sales roles (in addition to sales representatives).
  • Navigates and manages risks that may impact deals within the assigned territory (e.g., country-specific, political, economic, etc.)
  • Responsible for complex multi-BU business deals.
