About the Role
The BD Manager will take responsibility regards to the business activities for VNG Game Business, including but not limited to partnerships with payment third parties in SEA / Global markets as well as Vietnamese TELCO partners;
and other business partnerships in long-term.
The candidates are expected for business understanding, strategic partnership, framework building, managing the contract agreements and ensuring the effectiveness of payment initiatives.
Responsible for day-to-day management of Game Payment partnership and processes with end goals of driving business initiatives, including :
Maintain strategic partnerships and establish new partnerships with key payment third parties and Telco in the market.
Negotiate deals for contract prices in new market or new partnership; deal for cost optimization in current partnership.
Partner with various cross-functional teams within VNG (E.g. Product teams, Technical teams) to drive strategy and implement the integration and reconciliation.
Review proposed modifications to agreements and work with internal business support teams (Legal, Finance & Accounting) and third parties to negotiate terms and obtain approvals for modifications as required.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams during contract review, acting as a key contact for the contracts department by providing guidance to external and internal teams.
Maintain in-depth understanding of Payment partners / initiatives and insight of Game business to maximize contractual deliverables.
Make monthly assessments to analyze the effectiveness of Payment methods / Payment channels to improve and / or initiate the new methods.
Minimum 3-5 year experiences in Business development role.
Experience in Internet industry and knowledge of Payment method is a big plus.
Business acumen and data driven to form business opinions or decision independently.
Experience in managing contracts with details oriented.
Excellent in communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. while working collaboratively in a team environment with all levels of the company.
Very good at English communications (verbal writing presentation).
Experience with data privacy rules and contracts preferred.
Ability to organize a small scope of team, allocate and leverage the limited resource. Ability to create partnerships both inside and outside of the Product organization.
