MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Strategic partnership

  • Works closely with key country business stakeholders and regional partners on different strategic initiatives and enhancing controls within Core Ops.
  • Project Coordination

  • Performs coordination on in country GCB project implementation, including
  • o Project tracking, follow up and escalation

    o Testing coordination

  • Performs coordination on OPPM releases, including both in country OPPM and regional OPPMs
  • INC tracking

  • Receives request from GCB teams on system issue
  • o Performs initial investigation

    o Raises INC to respective regional Tech team, with tracking, follow up and escalation

  • Coordination on testing on the fix and fix implementation with respective GCB teams
  • Vendor management

  • Performs vendor management on parameter outsourced vendor
  • Controls & Compliance

  • Be able to maintain strong and sufficient controls and compliance environment for the team, while maintain productivity and operations effectiveness toward customer orientation
  • Manages required periodic assessment on controls & compliance with timely manner
  • Digitization and Automation

  • Takes ownership on digitization and lean to contribute to the overall digitization direction for GCB Core Ops
  • Focused on increasing system automation by delivering optimized application enhancement.
  • Other

  • Able to handle tasks as Core Ops Head back up
  • Strong leadership oriented and influence
  • Able to handle wider scope of work upon expansion
  • Qualifications

    KEY REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

    Key requirements

  • 07 years ++ in banking operations with a deep understanding of the operations controls, with at least 04 years of manager role
  • Strong communication skills in English and Vietnamese
  • A natural leader : someone who can partner with cross-franchise teams and external partners to lead a high performing team
  • Creativity, initiative and drive : an advocate for innovative thinking, cultural development, with a results mindset
  • Ability to influence others and obtain buy-in for projects
  • Ability to think independently, analytically and logically
  • Ability to effectively communicate with own team, internal stakeholders, suppliers and key stakeholders to deliver high quality business outcomes
  • Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about continuous learning and digital innovation
  • Ability and knowledge to be ready for handling wider scope of work, that might include control monitoring, day 2 check, regulatory reporting are advantages
  • Experience in the consumer operations across functions of cards & banking, including but not limited to settlement / payment / card & statement handling
  • Ability to act as back up for Core Ops Head when required
  • Bachelor degree as lowest, specialized in Banking & Finance / Business Administration / Accounting
  • Travel
