The Opportunity : Lalamove is now seeking for an out-going, energetic and detail-oriented individual to join our People Operations / HR team in Vietnam.

If you want to be in a role that makes an impact on the business this is the role for you! You will be responsible for providing all-rounded support to our Vietnam Market Operations to ensure the smooth running of people related initiatives with a mindset to provide high-quality People and Admin services.

This role requires someone highly energetic with excellent administrative, organizational and IT skills.

Main responsibilities :

  • Payroll : Proactively assist Manager to ensure smooth processing of monthly payroll for headcount of 160+ employees, and coordinate necessary statutory contributions
  • System Implementation Initiatives : Acting the role of Project Manager in sourcing / finding supplier / vendor and work together with POPS Manager to implement a system to support daily operational and Payroll activities.
  • Compensation & Benefits : Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current laws and regulations. Conducting salary and labor market research to define benchmarks and best practices.
  • Manage the performance and salary reviews.

  • Compliance & Reporting : Assist Manager in c onducting periodic audits, preparing, and presenting reports for government submissions.
  • Assist in month-end closing by working closely with the Finance team.

  • Welfare : Proactively ensure staff welfare & benefits i.e. group insurance claims, social securities claims, welfare reimbursement, staff birthday & anniversary and other occasions and work together with POPS Manager to raise the standards.
  • Company standards : Always maintain updated company frameworks and SOP on people management in general. Maintain, update and ensure accuracy of all HR records, systems, user guides and internal policies.
  • Admin : coordinate to organize company events (annual dinner, country / regional meetings, etc.). Assist in all round office administration including but not limited to procurement of office equipment and supplies, filing, office equipment maintenance, stationery and pantry’s supplies
  • Qualifications & Requirements :

  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business Administration or HR management
  • Minimum 3.5 years HR related experience
  • Proven track record of handling confidential / sensitive information with grace and care
  • Strong knowledge of local labor regulations, HR operations and local recruitment specifics.
  • Proven HRIS, ATS and Payroll system experience
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent written and spoken English / other languages
  • Worked in a startup before (good to have!)
