Our Exciting Opportunity

We are now looking for a Networks Operations Center Manager; do you want to join us? In this role, you will secure delivery performance in alignment with the business case and handled service targets.

The NOC Delivery Manager is responsible to secure the quality and cost of the services delivered from their delivery unit either global or local in accordance with the encouraged levels agreed in the Working Level Agreements (WLA) and handle service performance requirements (global benchmark and targets).

You will need to understand and act upon the end-to-end delivery performance even when the delivery is fragmented, thru accurate coordination with a MS Delivery Manager responsible for other parts of the delivery.

You will

  • Totally responsible for NOC delivery of a customer network including Network Surveillance, Fault Handling, Ticket Management, and Dispatch function.
  • Ensure smooth operation of day-to-day activities covering all domains CORE, RAN, IN / VAS, Transmission, and passive components in the customer Network.
  • Control the performance of NOC operations based on signed SLA and WLA.
  • Project Planning, Monitoring and Controlling Performance as well as subsequent reporting on progress and cost in the most efficient way to achieve the project objectives
  • Secure the operational processes adherence and the application of continual service improvement activities.
  • Be responsible for continuous improvement of processes, tools as part of operational efficiency.
  • Be able to recognize the requirements for people and give coaching where applicable.
  • Be responsible for the well-being of all staff in terms of their working environment and conditions of employment.
  • Ensure the Front Office is always adequately staffed.
  • Tasks

  • Do the tactical resource planning to identify the required resource volume for the NOC operation on yearly basis or on-demand.
  • Recruit and align the resource within NOC operation according to Tactical Resource Plan
  • Maintain NOC resource quality by coaching and training, motivating people
  • Regularly review individual performance and update individual scope accordingly
  • Equip staff with knowledge on OHS, business ethics, and security. Continuously improve the working environment to make it more healthy, safe, and engaging
  • Continuously identify room for operation efficiency including tools and processes, i.e. simplify processes and drive the automation program by creating new rules, optimizing existing tools and developing processes, Jobaids
  • Manage the scope of work. Plan budget to align with scope and review cost on a monthly basis. Propose the initiative to save cost.
  • Manage the first level activities including alarm monitoring, health check, backup, network access, site access.
  • Control first-level incident handling and dispatch incidents!!

  • To be successful in the role you must have

    Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or telecommunication-related fields.

    Experience :

    Proven experience in the Operations, Network Implementation, or Project Management of telecommunication projects specifically in the implementation of core and access network equipment.

  • Good knowledge of market dimension (customer, competitor, and suppliers) particularly in the telecom industry

  • Highly developed English language skill (spoken and written)
