Job Description

The Agency Trainer is responsible for conducting monthly plan and discussions and getting sign-off from SM / RD and training department.

Acts as support SM in 5-day meetings and facilitate weekly product refreshers and responsible in running phone blitz sessions.

  • Running MIT / SBW and JFW
  • 2 trainers to co-run MIT for a total of 7 working day a month
  • Conduct SBW once a week (now part of the weekly product refresher)
  • Conduct JFW at least 3 times per month per trainer and provide JFW report to SM / RD and training dept.
  • Assist SM in the preparation and facilitation of the meeting
  • Be a member of the panel in assessing the public speaking skills of the manager sharing sessions.
  • Organize MIT graduation ceremony at the morning meeting
  • Consolidate all sharing materials (from BAM, Trainer, Manager sharing etc ) under Manulife Idol project chaired by Dong Dao and Gilbert
  • Renew the scripts and review the submitted Project 50
  • Go around and supervise new agents doing phone blitz
  • Complete the monitoring report, recognize who has a highest appointments and summarize key points to be focused on the next phone blitz
  • Provide one-on-one for new agents not making progress in the phone blitz
  • Deliver product refresher materials and finalize the topics with SM
  • Discuss with SM to determine which topics could help the location most
  • Conduct role-play of the skill build already in SBW at the product refresher session in the morning meeting
  • Responsible for assisting SM in preparing and running local event and activities (client seminar, recruitment seminar, workshop, quarterly review, big agency meeting, promotion ceremony, etc.)
  • Serve as SM backup in the location when SM is on training, meeting or on leave.
  • Conduct candidate interviews who passed the standard requirements (non-standard will be referred to SM for approval)
  • Helping SM to run some specific activities in the location such as FC Club to improve the activity of FC.
  • Execute administrative tasks as needed such as filing documents of all classes.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor of Arts in Education or Finance or Economics
  • Experience in Training or Life insurance is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Has good presentation skills and is persuasive
