Mandarin / Cantonese Interpreter
Work from Home Position*
We are looking for Language Interpreters ( Mandarin English & Cantonese English ) for our client who is one of the biggest language services company in the world.
Position : Over the phone interpreter Mandarin / Cantonese to English and vice versa
Period of Employment : 12 months contract / Renewable
Working Hours : 40 hours per week / based on mostly night shift schedule (support Pacific Time)
It is essential to ensure a quiet and secure environment. This position is opened to most locations within Malaysia, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Thailand & Vietnam.
The calls may involve simple or complex, non-technical or technical subjects in healthcare, government, insurance, finance, utilities, travel and hospitality, 911 emergency services, law enforcement and general businesses.
Expectations for the role :
Fluent in English
Fluent in Mandarin / Cantonese (including reading)
Must work from home
Must own a laptop / PC with webcam
High speed internet connection : minimum of 5MB download and 3MB upload speed (public WiFi is strictly not allowed)
Cable or fiber optic internet only
Own mobile phone either Android 7 and above or iPhone 6 and iOS 12 and above
Work 9 hours anytime following the required schedule by the client ( Night Shift )
Entitled to 2 days off in a week which will be rotating any day
Work on public holidays and weekends if scheduled to
