The Market Development Manager is an essential member of the Medtronic Emerging OU Team in Vietnam, reporting to Senior Business Manager, Emerging OUs Vietnam.
This position has the responsibility to create and implement market development strategies and tactics in support of the Surgical Robotics development in Vietnam.

A Day in the Life
Principal Market Development Specialist
You will be responsible in Identifying, developing, and implementing near-term and long-term business strategies relating to the development of surgical robotics for two state-of-the-art robotic systems :
Mazor X (spine)
HUGO (urology, gynecology, colorectal, bariatric)
Develop a sales pipeline with strategic accounts in Vietnam for both public and private hospitals.
Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Service and Repair, QRA, Pricing, Supply chain) in implementing business development projects.
Develop business models and determine market trends to substantiate long-term prospects.
Maintain a regular communication pathway with product marketing partners to ensure alignment and measure progress.
Represent the central point of contact for Surgical Robotics in Vietnam and be the subject matter expert on Surgical Robotics, with the goal of developing strategies and measurable action plans to overcome barriers to adoption and improve patient access to our technologies.
Lead execution of market development programs to drive adoption of our technologies, including collaboration with the medical education and sales teams to deliver medical education and therapy awareness programs
Lead key opinion leader (KOL) and medical society / advocate strategy in therapy area with the Medical Education and Clinical teams to establish care guidelines, guide clinical evidence & value-based care initiatives to establish programs that drive acceptance of key procedures and technologies.
Establish strong relationships with influential healthcare decision makers and professionals including those in clinical and health economics.
Contribute to an environment of collaboration, trust, achievement and high engagement.
Travel up to 30%, domestic
Must Have : Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Nice to have
Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in sales, market development or marketing, or master degree with a minimum of 5 years experience
Ability to work at the hospital C-suite level
Proven track record of successfully developing and executing market development or commercial plans and programs with measurable leading and lagging indicators of success.
