Purpose of position :
The position has direct impact on EPD's ability to meet short- and long-term growth objectives by launching new products on-time in effective, efficient and consistent process.
Senior NPI Specialist is responsible for affiliate NPI process (from project approval to launch) and acts as Project manager for all approved NPI projects.
Senior NPI Specialist is an expert on affiliate NPI process and global NPI process, and super-user of End-to-End solution (project execution part) and is a communication link with NPI functions.
Senior NPI Specialist supports EPD growth targets by on time execution of approved NPI launches.
Main Responsibilities :
Together with local BD / Commercial lead (LEAP), own Affiliate End-to-End NPI process. Ensure local process is aligned with Region / Global NPI process and with class A standards.
Constantly search for improvement opportunities. Ensure local policies / SOPs / work instructions / training materials are in place and regularly updated to ensure routine operations and quality output.
Note : BD / Commercial lead owns the idea generation, validation, evaluation, approval of business case (LEAP) and Commercial lead owns post launch assessment.
Senior NPI Specialist owns the execution of projects from approval to launch (ATOM).
Act as Project Manager for all approved projects, identify and lead the Project Teams, together with NPI Co-Ordinator to manage Gantts in ATOM, own the Project Plans, lead and coordinate execution of all activities required for launch.
Communicate the Project Plans and changes to project stakeholders.
Coordinate and facilitate the monthly NPI reviews at the Affiliate. Update the status of NPI projects to TA & NPI Manager to present at the Affiliate S&OP meeting.
Coordinate and communicate with Region and Global, provide required project updates.
Measure and report on time execution of launch activities. Identify performance gaps and ensure improvement actions are taken to minimize impact on business performance.
Bachelor or master’s degree : Pharmacist / Doctor, Business Administration, Sciences, Engineering or Humanities
Others : Project Management certification (not necessary but is advantage)
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Commercial organization of Multinational Pharmaceutical Company.
Project Management track record.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within complex organization and collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders.
Knowledgeable about relevant pharma functions : marketing, sales, finance, demand management, business intelligence, market access, regulatory, supply chain.
Experience with product launch (lead or member of launch team).
