Essential and optional requirements

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor degree in English / Hospitality Management / Language or TESOL certification
  • At least 2 years teaching experience is required.
  • Experience in hotel / resort is an advantage

  • Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
  • Key tasks

  • Set up, conduct an English language teaching program for general and department specific English with the support of the Learning and Development Manager and Supervisor / Manager of departments.
  • Set up a grading and assessment process to place employees in groups by ability
  • Ensure English program meet customer service standard of Novotel Phu Quoc
  • Create and update training data record in system
  • Organize and execute employee activities : English Club, Culture Day
  • Maintain a good working relations with all departments and all professional external contacts
  • Update current trend in English Teaching Method and ensure the effectively of English Training Class by test and survey.
  • Other Responsibilities

  • Assist colleagues will all activities related to Learning & Development
  • Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
  • Be aware of the hotel fire & life safety / emergency procedures
  • Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the assigned by the Management
