Essential and optional requirements

5+) years’ experience in F&B Management in Upscale Hotel

Experience in high volume banquet business preferred

Organizational skills to function effectively, with attention to detail while meeting established deadlines

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)

Ability to establish guidelines for proper staffing to maximize efficiency and minimize labor costs

Work in a fast-paced, busy, and at times, a somewhat stressful environment

Communicates effectively in English, both oral and written form. Business Japanese communication skill will be an advantage

Working experience in Asia preferred. Working experience in Japan will be an advantage

Excellent interpersonal, communications and problem solving abilities

Key tasks

Supports the DOFB in the assignment and assures that set objectives are understood, implemented, controlled and maintained in the entire operation of F&B

Supports, controls and coordinates the submission of all F&B Forecast & Budget Related figures as well as the F&B Marketing Plan

Ensures high customer satisfaction through training, motivation, implementing and Maintaining standards, as well as leading by example

Ensures that all revenue is maximized, and that payroll and operational expenses are controlled to achieve Departmental Profit and GOP

Creates and maintains a good and healthy work environment, and nurtures the team engagement by creating and maintaining an environment where employees feel valued, involved and appreciated

Ensures the efficient, effective and smooth running of the operation

Develops with the F&B Management Team a clear, comprehensive and achievable business plan for the F&B Department

Ensures professional development opportunities are made available to F&B team members
