Job summary

Amazon is seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Manager (Brand Building and Event Management) for the Amazon Global Selling.

This person will be responsible for building VNGS brand awareness and activation to motivate prospect sellers to start their selling on Amazon journeys.

This person will be chartered with various marketing channels and activities, which can enable scalable approaches to Vietnamese prospects and selling partners in Vietnam.

To be successful in this role candidate will need to be an innovator, communicator, influencer, and problem solver. Candidate will need to be highly analytical, think and act fast, and be apt at finding creative solutions to complex problems.

The ideal candidate will need to be strategic in defining selling on Amazon brand positioning and tailor communication message to attract prospect sellers.

He or she needs to plan and create the most compelling brand communications / contents to help target audiences clearly understand the opportunities on Amazon market places and provide basic knowledge on how to get started in order to set them up for success.

This person will work closely with internal PR, public policy, business development teams, third party service providers and other external stakeholders / agencies to continue to add scalability in our marketing activities and engagement.

At the same time, this person will develop marketing campaigns to increase awareness on the newly emerging opportunities.

Specifically, this position will own and initiate offline and online marketing activities including but not limited to small to large events, SMEs, as well as develop and distribute seller awareness / education contents and seller success stories in multiple formats.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead VNGS brand building strategies across all channels to ensure delivering a clear brand proposition to key segments.
  • Lead market researches to develop qualified brand building concept that addresses Vietnamese prospects / selling partners unmet needs to raise VNGS awareness with scale and speed.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns to build awareness and excitement for VNGS business.
  • Define, plan, develop and execute marketing plan for seller recruitment and engagement activities in direct and indirect channels.
  • Develop success stories assets to drive conversion from prospect to lead.
  • Work with Public Policy and Public Relations to raise AGS awareness.
  • Prepare and deliver business reviews of marketing regarding its progress in achieving pre-defined targets.
  • Support internal and external partners with brand communications assets and content, adapted in numerous channels.
