The Role of the Account Director

The Account Director is responsible for contributing to the achievement of business plan objectives by the effective management of the provision of quality communication strategies to clients

Job Purpose

  • Orchestrates the delivery of Client’s communication activities across channels.
  • Leads the strategy development and success criteria for assigned client(s);
  • Manages the workflow, operational and quality processes within the team and across other agency departments including Strategic Planning, Creatives, Digital, Finance;
  • Ensures a high level of strategic, creative and digital implementation outputs;
  • Oversee the production process, ensure the smooth follow and timely delivery;
  • Collaborates effectively with Agency’s partners including Media Agencies, Data & Tech, Innovation Partners, PR & Activation among others to deliver solid integrated initiatives for the Client;
  • Drives measurement and evaluation of all activities;
  • Ensures accountability is established during the project planning process;
  • Develops strong, trusting relationships between Client and Agency teams, providing leadership and support during strategy development, ideation and execution;
  • Engages deeper into the Client’s business by getting deeper understanding and constantly providing strategic solutions to their challenges;
  • Full management of financials budget control and forecasting;
  • Reports to Business Development Director, partners with Client, and Agency team to ensure complete integration and delivery quality;
  • Manage and mentor and grow her / his subordinates.

  • 6+ years creative agency or brand marketing experience
  • Strong operational prowess with experience building process
  • Exceptional digital marketing and strategic abilities across multiple business verticals
  • Influencer marketing and production experience highly preferred
  • Experience working and collaborating with cross-agency teams to build integrated marketing plans
  • Client or agency relationship management experience preferred
  • High level of comfort presenting to clients and internal team members
  • Self-starter, demonstrates initiative
  • Strong Leadership skills and ability to develop and mentor teams
  • Vietnamese level : Fluent or Native
  • English Level : Fluent
