Position Summary :
The Project Manager will work in partnership with HQ, the local Marketing Team, and the Marketing Manager to plan, implement, and execute the strategic direction of the brand across the dedicated region / remit.
They’ll ensure structured alignment to the brand’s marketing standards, objectives, strategies, and philosophies. The Project Manager, as part of a wider marketing team Trade Marketing and Digital , will be responsible for creating, planning, managing, and executing specific marketing events and programs that are articulated in the annual Marketing plan, based on ownership of specific channels i.
e. Grocery, C&P, National Independents, etc .
The Project Manager will integrate key brand platforms into key sales initiatives to leverage and build brand awareness through diligent trade marketing and integrated digital leverage platforms.
This role will require close collaboration with HQ Departments, specifically design / creative and digital as well as local MEC’s marketing team so as to align local brand-building initiatives with global best practices and also to leverage larger scale marketing investments.
Essential Job Functions :
Plan, Implement and leverage the brand by implementing image-building strategies through (1) Consumer and Trade Promotions (2) Event / Sponsorship Execution (3) Marketing Team collaboration (4) Branding (5) Budget Control, (6) Relationship development Internal and External .
All elements should be defined via clear planning and implementation considerations, along with defined budgets and processes.
Campaign management includes planning, optimizing, and tracking. Initiate ideas, develop concept, layout, define a content plan, and integrate it into the campaign.
Develop & maintain relationships with opinion leaders in your market for the key image-building scenes in sport & culture.
With a local network of opinion leaders, develop new ideas that bring the brand to life through local image-building scenes.
Develop close and collaborative internal relationships with key Stakeholders locally and at HQ. Ensure relationships remain professional to ensure rational decision-making based on clear ROI.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and possess the ability to maintain confidentiality and will have some marketing experience.
This role will provide dedicated support to ensure specific marketing programs are implemented, on time and within budget, which will further grow the brand.
Position Requirements :
Bachelors or better in Marketing or related field.
